Connecting Embodiments

Today, we are going to provide a brief overview of how to connect embodiments to neurorobotics studio. For more specific instructions, you can visit our GitHub for step-by-step tutorials that are specific to your robot.

  1. Title and GitHub

Today, we are going to provide a brief overview of how to connect embodiments to neurorobotics studio. For more specific instructions, you can visit our GitHub for step-by-step tutorials that are specific to your robot.

  2. Types of Embodiments

In Neurorobotics Studio, we have 3 different types of embodiments that each have different instructions for connection. These include embodiments within Neurorobotics Studio itself, Bluetooth Robots, and Non-Bluetooth Robots.

  3. NRS Applications

For embodiments with Neurorobotics Studio, you must choose your virtual embodiment and then connect that embodiment to your experiment. In this example, we connected the pong game by toggling the pong embodiment button on. After turning the application on, you will be able to see the embodiment in your experiment.

  4. Bluetooth Embodiments

Next we have Bluetooth embodiments, which is designed for any physical robot that has bluetooth connection. If applicable, you can download your robot’s specific code from the GitHub repository. From there, you can connect your robot via your device’s bluetooth settings, which gives you the capability to connect it within FEAGI.

  5. Non-Bluetooth Embodiments

Lastly, we have non-bluetooth embodiments. After making sure your robot has power, you can deploy the FEAGI connector and apply your unique Magic Link to connect the embodiment to Neurorobotics Studio.
